There will be a fall GLAPCE Conference for Educatos and Pastors entitled "Many Hats, One Vision: Equipping God's People."  This conference will be held October 14-17, 2007 at the Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, WI.  The Great Lakes Association of Presbyterian Church Educators (GLAPCE) is co-sponsoring this event with the Christian Educators Fellowship-Wisconsin Chapter (CEF-WI).  If people want to learn more about the conference or want registration materials they may visit www.firstpreswausau.org to download information in Adobe (pdf) format, or may contact Marilyn Paulson at mpaulson@firstpreswausau.org or phone 715-842-2166 x 14.  She is the GLAPCE regional representative from Wisconsin and also co-chairperson of the conference. 

There is an early bird conference registration deadline of June 30th.  Registration rates increase by $15 on July 1st.  The final deadline is September 28th.

The conference organizers have planned this conference so it will provide both learning and retreat opportunities for those called to serve as educators in our churches.  Care has been taken to provide a broad range of workshops and seminars that will help both new and seasoned educators, will help clergy who are responsible for Christian education, and will help paid staff or volunteers whether planning, supervising, or implementing.
